We can’t achieve anything without our wonderful volunteers - come and join us!

May 2021: Saplings from the Woodland Trust planted along the fence line of the children’s playpark at Berrylands

The Woodland Trust offers native saplings to community and charitable groups and Friends of Goddington Park received 120 mixed hedging plants in May 2021 ready for planting.

After rescheduling once due to rain, they were planted over the weekend of May 22nd and 23rd. Our willing volunteers consisted of FOGP members and family, a representative of Westcombe Park Rugby Club and park neighbours.

July 2020: Following Lynn’s sterling work (see below) Team FOGP has launched a campaign to encourage people to manage their litter in a better way & keep our beautiful park tidy. See the gallery for campaign photos & messages! We hope this initiative reminds people to be more responsible with their litter.

Feb 2020: We are pleased to share the Park has received 6 new BINS, which is helping all park users dispose of waste conveniently. This is thanks to our chairperson Lynn has consistently worked with BROMLEY COUNCIL & IDVERDE to get better quality multi-purpose BINS installed at the Park.
